Received updates and pictures from Noel…
Hey Mike,
I got into Rapid City about 10pm last night, and was just barely able to catch up with the team before the start of the race. Shaun and Kyle were doing some final strategizing on maps, and Leslie and Keith were catching 40 winks on the couches when we left for our hotel at 11:30pm.
The race started off this morning with a bus ride to the start of a marathon run. The run will be fast… the teams didn’t even need to carry their packs, and there is a water stop along the way too. We’re going to try to catch up with them and hopefully shoot some video around Stugis, where the next 2 TAs are.
I’ll try to post updates via Twitter, @moatAR whenever I learn anything new.
